Twelve reference points

Each house can be read from any other. The sixth house stands at a certain distance from each of the twelve and carries its own meaning for it. The quality of these meanings will be shown by the planets in signs and nakshatras and everything else we have already studied.

First from the sixth

The basic meanings plus police, service, medicine. If the lagna lord or the Moon is in the sixth house, the person is drawn into these spheres.

Sixth from the first

Illnesses, difficulties for the body, the ability to overcome problems for one's life. When illness comes, our ability to overcome switches on. You can close up, like a businessman who has lost everything and sits sadly over his laptop. Or you can overcome.

Fifth from the second

My sixth house is the future fifth of my savings. A trikona is the strongest structure; we stand on it as on a tripod, so it can be read as a support. With a weak sixth house money cannot be saved: how can you save if you have debts? Young people whose sixth house is not built up blow the money their mother gave them. No pain, no gain: the pain is the sixth house, the gain the second.

The resources of the second house ask: can I rely on you? Loved ones look at a son: can we rely on you in the future? The answer will be given by the planets in the sixth house and above all by its lord.

There is also the reverse situation. A person saves and saves and doesn't know where to put it — and enemies, taxes, suspicious people appear. If there is nothing in the house, thieves will take nothing, because the person uses money for its purpose: for service, help, business.

The second house is also speech and food. I accumulate knowledge through the second house and use my tongue in service through the sixth. The sixth house is immunity, proper nutrition, absorption of food. The fifth is the stomach, the sixth the intestines. Excess weight comes from toxins, and the basis is the intestines. Eating something tasty is the second house, but if the food is not digested, what is there to talk about. Police and security are also protection of our savings and loved ones.

Fourth from the third

Support and happiness for younger relatives and for one's own efforts: comfortable communication, short trips, neighbours. Housing for younger brothers and sisters is also here. If, for example, Rahu is in the sixth house, there may be difficulties and conflicts over housing. With an afflicted sixth the younger ones may go to court over an inheritance.

The image of a protector: when the leader weakens, followers leave. You are no longer the strongest in the class.

Third from the fourth

Effort for the sake of education, property, a car, comfort. Inner peace requires the sixth house. In children the sixth house is weak, there is no Saturn yet, and parents train them. The Vedic rule: children should not be afraid to strain themselves. Modern hedonistic psychology forbids straining children, and this is a problem.

A teacher, too, should not be afraid to lead a student through the sixth house. Healthy pressure: “Where is the audio recording?” I take payment only for a lesson already held, never in advance, so I owe no one anything. A teacher is equal for all students.

Second from the fifth

Support of the fifth house. Difficulties temper the mind. The father works for the sake of the children's education. Children bring a person to hired work. Overcoming makes a person strong and later independent: people work abroad and then open their own firm. The sixth house as artha leads to the tenth. If your goal is to earn with astrology, you cannot do without the sixth house.

Twelfth from the seventh

The problems we create through the sixth house destroy partnership. Illnesses, debts, conflicts often become the cause of divorce and loss of business. The planets in the sixth house show the cause. If Mars — violence; if Saturn with Mars — conflict and unwillingness to serve.

Young people say: “I don't want to study, I want to get married,” and try to jump from the fifth straight to the seventh. First you need to go through tempering in the second, third, fourth, fifth and necessarily the sixth house. The sixth house stands behind the seventh like a guard. Make sure a built-up sixth house stands behind the family.

If a person asks whether they can have their own business, and their sixth house has a heap of afflicted planets and the muscles of service are not developed, it is better to serve first: a car service, a car wash, a loader. Until the muscles of service are built up.

Eleventh from the eighth

Any house can be checked by the eleventh from it. If a person can overcome difficulties, they have worked through the eighth house well. Or they have studied astrology well: understood the laws of karma, stopped criticising people, saw how different we all are, and admires God's power. The reward for Vedic astrology is the ability to solve problems, defeat rivals, raise immunity. People come to astrology to improve their sixth house. Whether you realise it or not.

Tenth from the ninth

The status of the father and the teacher depends on how successfully we overcome problems. People look at a child and think: who is your dad? Who is your teacher, your boss? The teacher, the father, the boss must teach a person to serve in this world.

Ninth from the tenth

Luck for status and the philosophy of our actions. If a person does not want to serve, they will not be given favourable conditions at work. From inside everything is visible: whether a person serves from the heart or for a salary. If you have many problems, the question is: by what philosophy did you live and what did you do? So don't complain — better say it to God or to a close person you trust. Negative karma is not eternal; it can be overcome.

Eighth from the eleventh

The sixth house gives vitality to big money. For the eighth from the eleventh to manifest not as a crisis but as vitality, you need to be able to work through the sixth house. Without this there will be no big money. Or you can wear yourself out like a donkey chasing a carrot, led by its owner and not seeing that there is food both left and right. Then ambitions, desires and the patronage of elders disappear.
