What this book will give you
This book is for those who already read charts, their own and others', and want to go through the eleventh house in depth. I have gathered here what I said about it on the basic course, at the intensive on derived meanings, in practice and in the lesson on the D11 chart: the nature of the house, its meanings, the lord of the eleventh by house, planets, the twelve reference points and how to give a person a solution.
What you will get:
- the names of the eleventh house and its main meanings;
- the eleventh house as the peak of kama and as the house of scale;
- money, greed and honest earnings;
- two paths into the eleventh house: through work and through creativity;
- the lord of the eleventh in each of the twelve houses;
- twelve reference points, each on a separate diagram;
- how to turn a meaning into a recommendation: “develop the ability…”;
- planets in the eleventh house, upayas and a practicum.
Twelve reference points
Eleventh from the first
The realisation of ambitions and strong desires. This is the time when a person gains access to an elite club, to society, to a high post. Many strive here, because desires are fulfilled here.
Second from the tenth
Two is always support. Profit inspires further activity: we see income and want to keep working. Reward feeds work. A salary, money in the account, gifts — all this is the eleventh house.
Third from the ninth
The ability to gain profit from dharma, from lawful activity. Unlawful profit will be temporary, will spoil the reputation, and the whole chart will begin to crumble. The father's younger brother belongs here too: he is our elder relative.
Fourth from the eighth
Profit from wills, insurance, research activity, jyotish. The fulfilment of desires as happiness from research. The eighth house is the hardest dusthana: to get something, one first has to face a crisis. An insurance event is always unpleasant; a will comes after a loss. Even when consulting, you will hear hard things from people and learn to calm them. There is always a bitter note here.
Everyone has this combination in some form: all twelve spheres in life echo one another. Everyone can be an astrologer, just through different planets: some through Jupiter, some through Mercury, some through Venus.
Fifth from the seventh
Easy money, the patronage of elders, team activity — this is the future, the prospect of our marriage and partnership. If there are no elders and friends, the partnership stalls. A person got into a difficult situation, the wife says: “Where's the money?” — and there's no one to turn to: no friends, the credit history is ruined, the patrons have turned away.
The partner's children belong here too, if we meet the partner already with children, relatives' wedding gifts, the partner's love affairs and leisure. In the past in India each of a thousand friends and relatives gave the newlyweds a rupee and a brick, and after the wedding they had a thousand rupees and a thousand bricks for a house. That was the culture of the eleventh house.
Sixth from the sixth
The enemy of my enemy is a friend. The illness of an illness is recovery. Profit is a problem for debts: the money came, and I no longer owe anyone. Here one sees the ability to defeat illnesses, enemies and debts with the help of the eleventh house: easy money, the support of elders. Where to look for recovery will be shown by the lord of the eleventh.
